Mark O’Hara is our Expert Witness Specialist. He is a Chartered Surveyor and Managing Director of Osborne Irish Associates and is qualified to deal with a number of general practice and building surveying matters including providing expert oral evidence at court and in expert written reports in connection with a wide range of scenarios including:
1) Environmental issues;
2) Effect on value of the proximity of an organic landfill site;
3) Valuations for development purposes particularly in relation to Housing Associations;
4) Alleged valuation disputes; and
5) Negligence relating to unidentified defects in survey reports.
He has received training from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in court practice and procedures particularly with regard to the requirements set out in Part 35 of the CPR and Code of Guidance for Experts.
Instructions are accepted for Claimant/Applicant and Defendant/Respondent to include Single Joint Expert reports. The reports are provided as soon as possible after receipt of instructions and careful liaison with instructing parties is ensured.
